You are Called to Shine...

Where light exists, it's impossible for darkness to remain.  Even a small light changes everything.  Can you imagine how we must look in the spirit?  We are bright lights!  The Lord shines in us, and then shines through us bringing His light, and His life everywhere we go!  We need to remember who we are in Him, and the authority and life that we carry in us.

On a regular basis, we're accused by the accuser.  He's good at that, and He works hard to try to remind us of who we were, our failures, our problems and every negative view of our present circumstances.  That isn't enough though, for He tries to bring fear of what is to come.  The Lord has delivered us from all darkness, and brought us into the Light!  As long as we stay in agreement with the accuser's lies, we stay in the dark once again.  

How powerful is our union with the Lord!! We are changed by knowing Him, gazing on Him.  This isn't a one time thing, it's a continual coming to know Him.  The Lord also tells us in His word that He is the workman.  He's even more interested in who we are becoming than what we do.  He does the work in us, as we join Him.  He changes us by just knowing Him, and adoring Him.  How exciting is that?  

When the Word says here that our mission is to live as children, flooded with His revelation-light!  How freeing is that?  That is faith, that is trust, that is life!  No longer bound to who we once were, and no longer bound by laws or religion.  

It's easy to complicate things, as we look for so many ways to do "better" in life.  The Lord has set us free from even "better" to give us the best.  His best is free, and no matter how much we work at trying to obtain it, the only way to get it is to just receive it just like a child.  Be free!!
