"And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it." Habakkuk 2:2 Write your vision and keep it before you. The Lord has placed a vision in each person's life, whether we can see it yet or not. The Word says that men perish for lack of vision. I don't think that means that they may literally die right away, but it's a life with no purpose, no direction. We've even lived in those places at times in our lives and we know others who do too. It can look like aimless living life and wandering to becoming complacent and stuck in a loop. I want to know and live by the book God has written for my life. I want to know that I am living from that place of vision. There is a difference between ambition and vision. Many in the world are filled with ambition, and the difference between those two is self seeking. When we align our hearts with the Lord, and are Kingdom of God minded, ambition leaves. Our whole purpose and desire becomes seeing the Kingdom of God revealed in the earth. Can you picture it? Can you see the whole earth being changed as believers live in their callings and not set in the world's rules and the ways that the world tells us to "succeed." I think it's really awesome how the Kingdom of God is like an upside down kingdom compared to the world's view. In the Kingdom of God, we lift one another, we encourage one another, we come alongside each other and we celebrate one another!! In the world it's every man for himself and how to get recognized above others. Don't get stuck in that comfortable place, where we let vision slide by. I challenge you today to write the vision the Lord is placing on your heart, and it will usually look much larger than you can imagine, and may look like something completely different than what you're currently doing. Write the vision, and place it where you can read it or see it. I have another challenge for you, once you write it where you can see and read this everyday, take a picture of it and post it with the hashtag #writethevisioncreatives. I'll share it on Instagram. One more thing, as a community full of believers and creatives we can stand with one another and support each other to keep going the distance! Write the vision, make it plain so that you can run with it every day you see it. Heavenly Father, thank you for the Community of Christian Creatives who love you, and desire to fulfill all your will, all your plans you have laid out for them before the foundation of the world. Father, I thank you for making them creators and makers and that others are seeing and experiencing you in all they create. Let them change their environments and the atomosphere with all this beauty. Bless them!! Amen. Misty L.
