Turning a vision into reality...

Some of you may have wondered how did Community of Christian Creatives start and I've wanted to share this with you for some time.   It's really quite a cool story. 
Sitting at my creative station, listening to a friend on a live feed one day talking about the Lord something caught my attention.  I actually heard in my heart a question.  By the way, many times this is how the Lord gets my attention is with a question, and I immediately recognized his voice.  He asked, "Why don't you do for them what you'd like done for you?" I began to know he was referring to other creatives, similar to myself. 
Well, I immediately thought of course, but how?  Literally, it was like watching a movie play out.  I saw myself creating the Instagram feed and it was called Community of Christian Creatives.  I saw it grow, and I saw a website be developed, and a membership, and I saw a magazine that looked like a catalog filled with photographs of people's talents and gifts and their information to contact them. 

This is right where I create, and this small space becomes a colorful palette.

Then I saw myself giving this to gallery owners, businesses and others around the world.  The vision continued a bit further, but that was the heart of it.  When this vision ended I found myself standing and it felt really peaceful and calm and I knew at that moment the only answer was to say, "Yes, Lord."  That is how we began! :) I reached out to others that I had got to know as I was already a creative and invited them to join me on this journey and one at a time you all came. 
​I'm so glad you're here!! What a journey and it's just getting started!! As a creative, you have such an opportunity to share the love of Christ in every brush stroke, every stroke of a pen, or even as you do your woodworking.  There isn't one medium to work with , but there is one body of Christ and we are here for such an incredible purpose.  To know the Lord, love Him, love others, and further the Kingdom of God in the earth.  Thank you for joining me on this journey!
