Take heart God's awesome creatives and makers, and be bold and courageous! The year isn't done. The Lord is with you all the way through, every step and He will not let your foot slip. Hold to Him, trust Him. I've been challenged lately to set plans for the new year, and not just basic plans, but literally a plan for every single day. I don't think I've ever done that, not for a whole year at a time! I'm excited to see what might come of it, especially when I know the Lord leads me and He and I want Him to lead or change those plans as needed. We'll see how this long-term planning takes shape. I keep hearing a word in my heart, intentional. This isn't a new thing, but it's really been strong lately. Intentional about what God's set in my heart as a vision, intentional about relationship, intentional about Him and intentional about all this planning too. Being prepared. I'm not sure about you, but the thought has also crossed my mind a few times of just coasting into the new year. This year has been a big one, huge steps of faith, and maybe it feels like it would be a rest to all the hard work to just take it easy as we slide into the new year. However, these few days before the year ends still hold promise, God's promises. God's timing is so different than what we'd expect sometimes, and we must be alert always not to miss an appointment with Him or an appointment to love someone. I don't want to miss even one. "Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed." ~ Proberbs 16:3 We're so excited about the coming year with you all, and thank you for joining us in this beautiful community that God has been creating. Stay tuned in as we share new and exciting things as the new year begins! God bless you all! I have some people in my life that I intentionally love! God has reminded me that there have been days in my life when people intentionally loved me. It's a great word though because it requires us to think and to slow down. Slowing down is not always an easy thing to do these days, but it's my intention for 2019. To be slower and to write more, so thank you for sharing these thoughts, I loved them. And the art is beautiful!
