"Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me."
Song of Songs 2:13 TPT All week every time I spent time with the Lord, or heard a message anywhere I heard the word "Bloom." It's now showed up in several words across social media in sermons and prophetic messages alike. There's a new season here, and we see the newness all around us in Spring on this side of the world. And although spring is here, there is a newness in the air. Can you feel it? There is a new thing that God is doing in many hearts. He's removing the old and putting a deep hunger to know Him, to spend time with Him in the hearts of believers. When I looked up the definition of "Bloom" it had many descriptions, including describing iron and metal, and the period of flowering time for growing things. It mentioned maturing, flourishing, supporting new life. I can relate to so much of what this all described. I'm just so amazed at how the Lord speaks to us to encourage us in whatever season we find ourselves in. He's right in it with us. He's closer than you can fathom, and He's producing life in us. Maybe you have found yourself in a rocky or dry season, and it's hard to see anything pretty around you, or see growth. I'd like to challenge you to ask the Lord for a fresh vision, a new way of thinking and seeing today. As you get still and wait on Him, ask Him how He sees you, and even in that place that may not seem so bright or as full of life, I believe He will surprise you. The Lord is creating in you, and creating with you. You have many gifts and talents, and those are identifiers of who you are, but all that you create comes from the Lord. He is your source, of all inspiration. Let Him strengthen you as you wait on Him, and you will bloom even in the desert places. Misty L.
