Brenda Calvert
Brenda is a self-taught artist with a great passion for art and family.  She has known she was an artist since 5 years old.  She soaked in all the art education she learned in middle and high school. She got approached by a friend to teach her child art and that quickly led to teaching 80 kids in her home each week.
After teaching art for 9 years, Brenda felt God telling her to start painting on her own in June 2016.  She loves doing custom paintings for her clients. Taking their photo and turning it into a painting is a great joy to capture that special memory!  Her commission paintings are generally booked up 2 months in advance.  When not doing commissions, she paints country scenes, flowers, and nature after the country land that she grew up in and is still surrounded by.  She describes herself as a whimsical realist style artist.
​She has a lot of future goals, but knows that it’s all up to God where her art journey takes her next!  She has recently taken up teaching art to kids once a month as well and is thankful to get a bit of that in.  Spending time with her three kids and husband, creating and a loving God keeps her going!
